Can't bear to watch...

Futsal friendly played on the blue pitch of Samba de Futsal, against Philip Long's team.

Great turnout for this game, 15 players. Score unknown, but we scored quite a lot. They scored much more though.

Zool looking tense...

AFCSM AGM AND DINNER 2010, 1st May 2010

The night (early morning) before D-Day

After months of planning, D-Day finally arrived. We had our last meeting at Amri's house where we finalized what we needed to do and prepared the membership kits, booklets, lanyards, etc...etc...

Going to Amri's (family's) crib

"This is how we do it, Kepet. Pay attention."

Jeff and his babies...Good job bro...

Checking the account balance...

One's gotta eat...delicious!

PM : Tak justify pun?
Amri : Justify tu apa?

What's gonna work? TEAMWORK!!!

Kepet losing it for awhile...it was around 3 am!

Thanks Amri for letting us use your house...

Final preparations on D-Day

One by one we reached KGNS from 12 noon onwards. Zool and Jaja arrived too to help us. Haris also came a bit later to assist. Few of us had to make a quick dash to Mydin to get paper bags when it was obvious there were too many door gifts for the people to hold.

Zool and Jaja volunteered to help...Thanks guys!

Suku leading by example...

Haris helped too...Thanks bro!

Nice...

Jeff making sure the merchandise are in order...

...assisted by Ed and Jaja...

Tired!!!

The (really big) flag...It won't be cheap framing this!

Decorated with some scarves, and Anand also provided some old pics from previous gatherings...

Almost time

Everything and everyone getting more or less ready.

PM trying to look important...(he is important!) Ed doesn't look convinced, and Jessica was neutral...

Kapt Fairuz...

Pro tem Committee and helpers registered first...

Ina was a great help...Thanks ya! Mell and Jessica (brought by Moe) made things easier and smoother...Thanks to them too...

YB registering...

Kepet (our top ticket salesman) registering himself and many of his absent friends...Good job bro!

Edy was impressive...She knew what she was doing...Hats off!

Thumbs up for Ina too!

It's time!!!

People started arriving at 7pm onwards. It rained heavily. The heavy rain made it difficult for people to walk from the carpark, which was quite a distance away.

YB : All right, you know what needs to be done...

Thanks to our sponsors, we have a lot of gifts for the lucky draw...

Fahrin gave away some prizes...

...and won one himself!

Naim also gave away some prizes...

Basically, that's all folks

I would like to think this event was a success. There were a few complaints of course, but for a first try, I think we did pretty well. Having 200++ fellow Gooners together was quite a high. All the hard work from June 2009 paid off. There is still a lot of work to be done, but this AGM was a huge step.

Gooners all!!!

2 of the hard-working pro tem committee members...

Naim looking tired, but Haris can still smile...

Kepet and Shahnaz worked very hard too...

Going home...

Towards the end of the AGM, we also celebrated Amri's birthday (actually it was a couple of days before)...2 beautiful and delicious cakes were presented to his surprise (the green cake wasn't a surprise)

Some of the pro tem and elected committees...

AFCSM's Office Bearers for 2010/2012

I'm not smiling in this coz I just remembered how much work the elected committee has to do immediately after this AGM...

Car sticker, part of the membership kit...

Everyone involved worked hard for the love of Arsenal and AFCSM. We all want AFCSM to be an active official supporter's club and to be beneficial to its members.

There are many people to thank, not just for this AGM, but also for the ROS registration.

-Original members of K9.
Fadzli, Azril, Shahnaz, Moe, Jeff, Amri, Nazreen, Naim, Embi
-New additions to K9
Kepet, Khai, Atiqah
-Veterans
Suku, Anand
-WAGs
Dayang, Atie, Edy, Ina
-Other helpers
Zool, Jaja, Haris, Mell, Jessica

Fadzli : It is regrettable you could not join us in the meetings and also the AGM itself due to your busy schedule, but I will always remember our passionate discussions. I tried to bring that same passion into K9.
PM and YB : You guys were great, you pushed the rest when the going got tough and made sure things kept moving, from our first meeting in June 2009 up to the AGM. Although you guys declined to be in the elected committee, I'm sure we can count on your continued support.
YB, Moe, Nazreen and Kepet : Your willingness to handle the paperwork for the ROS registration and all our meetings' minutes is commendable. I personally hate that type of work, so big salute for you guys.
Jeff : Hard-working and driven to succeed. Full of ideas. Definitely an asset. Also responsible for bringing in Nazreen and Amri.
Amri : Our master designer. Without you, we would have been lost. Valuable team member, and not just for your designing skills.
Nazreen : I will always remember calling you for the first time regarding this project.LOL. Regrettable you were not able to join us for the AGM, but I'm sure you'll play your part in the future. Great discussing things over with you.
Naim : K9 president and leader. 'Nuff said.
Kepet : Our top ticket salesman, due to your willingness to meet as many people as possible. A very hard-worker. You would have been in the original K9 had we met earlier.
Khai : Another hard-worker. Also would have been in K9 earlier. Always willing to help.
Atiqah : You are a welcome addition to K9 and a good choice as an office bearer. Congrats too for being able to convince FA to attend.
WAGs : I was glad to see that the WAGs were just as passionate in meetings and finishing their given tasks. Over time, I don't see them as WAGs, but part of K9 actually, my sisters. Edy was our main "man" at the AGM registration table, ably supported by Ina. I was also impressed to see Ina directing the guys (myself included) in taking care of the goodie bags. Everyone just followed her instructions (Amri definitely would), because we all sensed she knew what she was doing. And thank you too Ina, for commenting on my hair...hahaha...
Suku and Anand : Thank you for supporting our efforts and guiding us over the line.
Helpers : Without your help, it would have been harder and more stressful.

Of course, a big thank you to ALL WHO CAME TO THE AGM, it wouldn't be a success without your support!
