Football friendly, 2nd August 2009

Friendly game against Zack's friend's team...Night game played at Stadium Mini Shah Alam. Astro Awani was there too, mainly to interview some Arsenal fans (Naim and Kiong) regarding Wenger who was in KL the other day.

I didn't play in this game as well, just came to support. Also, no pics...Unsure of the score, but AFCSM lost...

Arsene Wenger dropped by KL. His visit, made possible by Castrol, is part of the brand’s sponsorship of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He conducted the Castrol Performance Challenge with the Malaysian U-19 team at Dataran Merdeka.

It was a welcome surprise to see so many Arsenal fans took the time to come to Dataran Merdeka, it being a workday...

Futsal frenly against Team Anuar, 25th April 2009

Anuar asked for this frenly, played 7-a-side at Sportsplanet Ampang...

Quite hard to get enough players for this, and some who gave their names couldn't make it...Damn frustrated that in 1 hour, 3 people pulled out. Luckily, JJ and Saed were able to complete team...

I'm fairly sure we lost although nobody kept score, but this match was not that friendly...

Sunday Cowboys 1-2 AFCSM...5th April 2009

I didn't really want to play in this game, esp as goalie, but I still brought all my gear in case...turned out I had to play as goalie and the rain made it so much worse...the last time we played them, it rained heavily too...

They scored first when someone (fairly) kicked the ball out of my hand, and I feared the worst then...But we scored 2 in the 2nd half and despite their late pressure, I made a couple of good saves and we hung on for the win...fuh...lega...

The guy in the middle was warned by the ref for touching me...his excuse was I was pushing him...not true...
