Some of AFCSM's activities that I was part of, also some other Arsenal fan-related stuff. Not many posts on gatherings though. This is not another Arsenal blog, there are too many out there already. Almost all the pics here are copied. If there are any copyright infringements, I apologize and do let me know. Btw, you could probably find more pics on some of the events at http://www.facebook.com/AFCSM

AFCSM AGM AND DINNER 2010, 1st May 2010
The night (early morning) before D-Day
Final preparations on D-Day
Almost time
It's time!!!
After months of planning, D-Day finally arrived. We had our last meeting at Amri's house where we finalized what we needed to do and prepared the membership kits, booklets, lanyards, etc...etc...
Final preparations on D-Day
One by one we reached KGNS from 12 noon onwards. Zool and Jaja arrived too to help us. Haris also came a bit later to assist. Few of us had to make a quick dash to Mydin to get paper bags when it was obvious there were too many door gifts for the people to hold.
Almost time
Everything and everyone getting more or less ready.
PM trying to look important...(he is important!) Ed doesn't look convinced, and Jessica was neutral...
Ina was a great help...Thanks ya! Mell and Jessica (brought by Moe) made things easier and smoother...Thanks to them too...
It's time!!!
People started arriving at 7pm onwards. It rained heavily. The heavy rain made it difficult for people to walk from the carpark, which was quite a distance away.
Naim also gave away some prizes...
Basically, that's all folks
Basically, that's all folks
I would like to think this event was a success. There were a few complaints of course, but for a first try, I think we did pretty well. Having 200++ fellow Gooners together was quite a high. All the hard work from June 2009 paid off. There is still a lot of work to be done, but this AGM was a huge step.
Gooners all!!!
Towards the end of the AGM, we also celebrated Amri's birthday (actually it was a couple of days before)...2 beautiful and delicious cakes were presented to his surprise (the green cake wasn't a surprise)
I'm not smiling in this coz I just remembered how much work the elected committee has to do immediately after this AGM...
Everyone involved worked hard for the love of Arsenal and AFCSM. We all want AFCSM to be an active official supporter's club and to be beneficial to its members.
There are many people to thank, not just for this AGM, but also for the ROS registration.

Fadzli : It is regrettable you could not join us in the meetings and also the AGM itself due to your busy schedule, but I will always remember our passionate discussions. I tried to bring that same passion into K9.
PM and YB : You guys were great, you pushed the rest when the going got tough and made sure things kept moving, from our first meeting in June 2009 up to the AGM. Although you guys declined to be in the elected committee, I'm sure we can count on your continued support.
YB, Moe, Nazreen and Kepet : Your willingness to handle the paperwork for the ROS registration and all our meetings' minutes is commendable. I personally hate that type of work, so big salute for you guys.
Jeff : Hard-working and driven to succeed. Full of ideas. Definitely an asset. Also responsible for bringing in Nazreen and Amri.
Amri : Our master designer. Without you, we would have been lost. Valuable team member, and not just for your designing skills.
Nazreen : I will always remember calling you for the first time regarding this project.LOL. Regrettable you were not able to join us for the AGM, but I'm sure you'll play your part in the future. Great discussing things over with you.
Naim : K9 president and leader. 'Nuff said.
Kepet : Our top ticket salesman, due to your willingness to meet as many people as possible. A very hard-worker. You would have been in the original K9 had we met earlier.
Khai : Another hard-worker. Also would have been in K9 earlier. Always willing to help.
Atiqah : You are a welcome addition to K9 and a good choice as an office bearer. Congrats too for being able to convince FA to attend.
WAGs : I was glad to see that the WAGs were just as passionate in meetings and finishing their given tasks. Over time, I don't see them as WAGs, but part of K9 actually, my sisters. Edy was our main "man" at the AGM registration table, ably supported by Ina. I was also impressed to see Ina directing the guys (myself included) in taking care of the goodie bags. Everyone just followed her instructions (Amri definitely would), because we all sensed she knew what she was doing. And thank you too Ina, for commenting on my hair...hahaha...
Suku and Anand : Thank you for supporting our efforts and guiding us over the line.
Helpers : Without your help, it would have been harder and more stressful.

Of course, a big thank you to ALL WHO CAME TO THE AGM, it wouldn't be a success without your support!
