Arsenal Malaysia...ProEvents, who are celebrating their 10 year anniversary, together with FAM, organized a 7-a-side friendly tournament in light of the Chelsea, Liverpool & Arsenal tour this coming July.

Most of our guys came early...We tried to get our best available players for this event. A few couldn't make it, but it was still a decent team. I'm honest enough to admit I'm not good enough to be part of this team, but I was in as a backup keeper to Zaidie. Had Shahnaz been free, my name wouldn't be in the list. But I did get playing time as an outfielder, and man, was I out of my league!

Zaidie was excellent in this tournament.
My cameo...We drew with the Liverpool (0-0) and Chelsea (2-2) teams, but beat both FAM (2-1) and SAM (1-0). The team was kind enough to let me play in the second half of the last group game against Chelsea, but in hindsight, I probably shouldn't have. We lost a 2-0 lead.
We finished top after the round robin games. Top 2 teams (Arsenal Malaysia and the Liverpool team) met again in the final. Unfortunately, we lost 0-2.
